Hi! My name is Erica DeMaria and I am a mom of two young

girls that keep me very busy and always make me laugh. I am also a full-time NYS certified special education teacher at a local public school. Though I teach all subjects, my passion has always driven me to focus on specialized reading instruction.

After completing my bachelor’s degree at Fordham University, I continued with my Master’s degree at Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus. I began my teaching career as a clinician, trainer, and consultant for Lindamood-Bell Learning

Processes.

Throughout my career, I’ve become Wilson Level 1 certified and have been trained in many other reading programs. My diverse reading education allows me to tailor lessons to the individual needs of each student.

I love bringing energy to all of my lessons and connecting

with my students to help them feel like they can and will make amazing progress. I’m excited to work together to create magical learning moments.
