Hi there! My name is Stacie. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors in Business Administration. I later earned a Masters in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from the University of Houston. I am a certified Texas Educator in Early Childhood, General education, English as a Second Language and Special Education.

I have been in the field of education for over two decades. I spent my first 13 years in the Kindergarten and First grade classroom. The last 8 years I have spent working as a Special Education and Dyslexia Interventionist for K-5 students. I decided to go into Special Education when my own son was diagnosed with Dysgraphia and ADHD in 4th grade. I saw the struggles he was having in the classroom. It really affected his confidence and I knew that I wanted to help other students overcome some of their own reading/writing and math struggles.

I am trained in Reading By Design which is an explicit and systematic program that is based on the Orton-Gillingham Method. I have worked with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade with ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia.
