My Story

Meredith has worked in education for 21 years. She studied Elementary Education and English
during her undergraduate years, and then went on to her Masters In Education in the field of
Special Education. Currently, Meredith is a school administrator within a Massachusetts Public
School grades K-8 and Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College’s Winston School of Education
and Social Policy. Her teaching experience is primarily in the k-8 levels in both general and
special education. Meredith has tutored students ranging in K- 12 in a variety of skills, and is a
Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner (W.D.P.), certified in Wilson Level 1. While teaching in Lawrence,
she received the Sontag Prize for Urban Education presented at Harvard School of Education,
and was nominated for Teacher of the Year. Meredith holds the following licenses in the state
of Massachusetts, Special Education Administrator, Elementary (1-6), English (5-8), Moderate
Disabilities (pk-8)(5-12) educator, and Supervisor/Director.
