In 2007 I started teaching 5th grade in the best school in Carroll County Maryland. I loved teaching but 5th grade was NOT for me. So I moved to 3rd grade in 2009 and truly found my love of educating young minds. In 2012 continued my journey by teaching 2nd grade, but my desire for new and different settings was again taking over. So I went all in on a random whim and got my Masters in teaching Multilingual Learners. The summer of 2014 I moved to Baltimore County to begin teaching English as a Second Language to students in Pre-K - 5th grade.

During the pandemic I was searching for more to do so I opened up my own tutoring business. I learned a WHOLE lot, including the fact that I liked the back office side of business best.  This lead me to become a virtual assistant.

I've been working for Kathy and My Happy Teacher from their very beginning. It brings me so much joy to help Kathy make her ideas into reality and be the chaos coordinator, helping us all stay on track.

I live in Maryland with my husband, our son Ryker, and our poochon Lilly. In my spare time (which is short and sweet with an energy filled toddler) you can find me watching the latest garbage on Bravo TV or reading the latest book recommended by Jenna's book club or Reese Whitherspoon's book club while sipping on an ice cold coffee.
