Hello! My name is Lisa Murphy and I currently live in Massachusetts with my husband and two wonderful children, ages 15 and 17. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

 

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Framingham State. I am a Special Education Teacher and have been teaching in the same district for 22 years! I currently teach second grade special education students using an inclusion and pull-out model. During my time in the Oxford Public Schools I have taught grades K-4.

 

I am certified in Wilson Level 1, Fundations, Lindamood Bell (Lips), Seeing Stars & Cloud Nine Math. I use Heggerty, Wilson and the Science of Reading to create specially designed instruction for my small groups to help develop their phonemic awareness and phonics skills.  I have experience working with children 

 

Teaching is my passion and I love seeing students succeed in their learning. I use a variety of highly effective strategies to create personally tailored virtual lessons for my students.  As a trained Special Educator, I am able to easily incorporate IEP goals into my lessons and collaborate with your child’s IEP team. 

 

My goal is to have a fun environment in which all students can grow and learn. I look forward to meeting and working with your child.
