Hello! My name is Lisa Murphy and I currently live in Massachusetts with my husband and two wonderful children, ages 13 and 16. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.. 

 

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Framingham State. I am a Special Education Teacher and have been teaching in the same district for 22 years! I currently teach second grade special education students using an inclusion and pull-out model. During my time in the Oxford Public Schools I have taught grades K-4.

 

I am certified in Wilson Level 1, Fundations, Lindamood Bell (Lips), Seeing Stars & Cloud Nine Math. I use Heggerty, Wilson and the Science of Reading to create specially designed instruction for my small groups to help develop their phonemic awareness and phonics skills.  

 

Teaching is my passion and I love seeing students succeed in their learning. I tailor my lessons to meet every students’ needs based on assessments or IEP goals. 

 

My goal is to have a fun environment in which all students can grow and learn. I look forward to meeting and working with your child.
