My name is Sofia, and I am excited to introduce myself as a reading tutor specializing in evidence-based literacy instruction. I am trained in Wilson Reading, Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, and phonemic awareness programs to help students build strong foundational reading and spelling skills.

My individualized and compassionate approach focuses on each student’s unique strengths and challenges. By tailoring lessons to their specific needs, I help children develop reading proficiency, self-confidence, and a genuine love of reading. 

 

As a mother of two beautiful children and two loving dogs, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and balance. I bring that same nurturing energy into my tutoring sessions, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and celebrating their progress.
